Archives Permanent Collection
Definition
The entire body of archival records that have been acquired and selected for permanent retention by the Dalhousie University Archives.
Introduction
The Archives Permanent Collection includes selected archival records of Dalhousie University and archival records related to current and former Dalhousie faculty, Nova Scotia performing arts, literature, business, labour, medicine, shipping, and other areas of study. The collection includes physical records, digitized records, and digital archives.
The Archives Permanent Collection is broadly organized into fifteen "thematic" groups:
