Definition
Unique identifier for each fonds or collection in the Archives Permanent Collection. Collection IDs are maintained in the /wiki/spaces/APM/pages/90538072. Collection IDs are broadly grouped into two categories: university records and private manuscripts.
Introduction
Collection IDs for University records are derived from the "University Archives" record group (UA). Private manuscripts fall under the "Manuscripts" record group (MS), which consists of fourteen thematic categories that reflect the University Archives' collections policy.
