• This section of the Archives Procedure Manual provides guidance on the storage of archival material preserved by Dalhousie Libraries as part of the Archives Permanent Collection.
  
  
• The manual addresses physical archives, digital archives, and "hybrid" archival fonds that include physical and digital archives.
  
  
• Archives staff manage the Libraries' physical archival storage areas.
  
  
• The Libraries' digital archival storage areas is managed by the University Archives in collaboration with Academic Technology Services, Information Technology Services, and external service providers.
