Delete AIP from Archival Storage

Introduction

  • There are two steps to deleting an AIP from Archivematica.

  • Archivematica users must submit a request for the AIP to be deleted.

  • An archivist must approve the deletion from the Storage Service interface.

These instructions are written for Archivematica users.

Log into Archivematica.

Navigate to the Archival Storage interface.

Search or browse to the AIP to be deleted.
