Technical specifications for textual records and other print material
- Specifications are based on Epson Scan software and may need to be adapted to other software applications and scanning equipment.
- Epson Scan and most other scanning software supports the creation of “scanning profiles” that can be saved and reused during digitization projects.
- Brightness, contrast, and saturation specifications are provided as a “starting point.” Technical specifications should always be tested and adjusted if necessary before scanning a new batch of material.
