Pixel dimensions
Pixel dimensions
Pixel dimensions are the width and height of an image expressed in pixels. Pixel dimensions can be calculated by multiplying the DPI by the source document dimensions. For example: an 8 x 10 in. photograph scanned at 600 dpi has pixel dimensions of 4,800 x 6,000 (600 x 8 = 4,800) x (600 x 10 = 6,000).
